Shamanism and Buddhism are closely related as for other native "beliefs" all over the world. We found that it was important for our
Scandinavian readers to inform about the background and believes about our most ancient culture and way to think and react in
their daily lives. To remove the myths about this way to think and live like our saami people. Latest anthropologic studies shows that
with the regress of the ice thousands of years ago, the people folloved the regression of the melting ice and glaciers in the ice-age.
Saami people are also "refugees" in their own coventry. Nowdays thing are better but the deputations of saami people
by the Norway forced them to incooperate them in Norwegian homes, very young. Most of them where forced to be Christians
and there are many stories about punishment of the Saami people daily in their "Norwegian homes". More information will

What is Shamanism?

Over tens of thousands of years, our ancient ancestors all over the world discovered how to maximize human abilities of mind and spirit for healing and problem-solving. The remarkable system of methods they developed is today known as "shamanism," a term that comes from a Siberian tribal word for its practitioners: "shaman" (pronounced SHAH-mahn). Shamans are a type of medicine man or woman especially distinguished by the use of journeys to hidden worlds otherwise mainly known through myth, dream, and near-death experiences.
